Sharon Shani

Born in London in 1957, Sharon Shani made aliya in 1989 and has lived in Israel ever since.  She studied at Avni College located in Jaffa, and is presently under the tutelage of Arik Ventura.

Shani began her  Staying Home  series in 2020. In her words: “I find that our living spaces reflect our lives, the items, the colors we surround ourselves with; the energy of  feng shui  influences our wellbeing. I always feel privileged to be invited into people's homes, and this project displays my love for design as I insert my artistic license onto the canvas confines and collage the parts that speak to me most.”

In Although she began painting this series at the onset of COVID, when people were restricted to their homes for fear of contagion, Shani shows us that these very homes were also the source of immense pleasure and imaginative play.

Beth Shahar

Beth Shahar was born (1957) and raised in Chicago, Illinois.

At the age of 18, Shahar relocated to Tel Aviv. Her art resides in private homes in the United States and Israel. This is a first solo show at The Office In Tel Aviv Gallery. Her art is a raw fresh expression of where she is at the moment while painting. Her painting process is meditative , an outer expression of emotions and feelings. She responds and interacts with colors and shapes. She mostly paints with acrylics on canvas and also creats collage and mixed-media pieces.
