The idea for this exhibition is a direct continuation of the Tokyo “Watari-Om” Contemporary Art Museum project that took place there in the year 2000. The Israeli bi-lingual contemporary art review “Terminal”, along with 19 other prestigious art periodicals, was invited to participate in an international exhibition “Magazine Camp 2000”. Among the invited were the Zurich “Parket”, the London “Paris” and the New York “Index”. The exhibition curator asked the invited journals to enclose related materials, such as books, video films or T-shirts. “Terminal” geared up for this invitation and sent to the Japanese exhibition original Israeli art T-shirts.

The current exhibition of the “Office in Tel Aviv” gallery features 14 women artists. 12 of them had a one-artist exhibition at the “Office in Tel Aviv” in the recent years. The exhibition reinforces the link between the artists, the audience and the artworks. It may be one of the ways by which art can affect life, rather than being a mere distraction. The equivalence of the T-shirt, the artwork printed on it and the artist make an equilateral triangle connection among the three.

The exhibition, in addition to presenting the original art, will feature sale of the art in it’s wearable form, on the T-shirts.
